First: Are You Still in the Window?
Same-day delivery runs Wednesday to Sunday. The cut-off is 12:00 noon Wednesday to Friday, or 10:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday. If you're reading this before that time, you're in with a real shot. What You Can Actually Get Today
Same-day cakes are handpicked from our bestselling designs so we can personalise and finish them fast without compromising on quality — everything is still handmade in our Dublin 8 kitchen the same day, nothing frozen or bought in. Recent picks from the same-day range have included a Custom Mini Buttercream Cake, a Vintage Heart Shaped Cake, a Custom Rose Buttercream Cake, and a Buttercream Chocolate Drip Cake. You'll choose your sponge (Vanilla, Red Velvet or Chocolate) and filling (vanilla buttercream, berry compote or whipped caramel), and we'll add a name, age or short message at no extra cost.
What Probably Won't Happen Today
To be upfront: wedding cakes, tiered cakes (two tiers or more), fully bespoke or sculpted designs, fresh flowers, gold leaf, and allergen-specific cakes all need more notice than a same-day window allows — these take real construction and setting time that can't be rushed. If that's what you need, the good news is most of our other celebration cakes only need 1–5 days' notice, so tomorrow is very likely covered.
What to Do Right Now

- Browse the same-day collection and pick a design.
- Add your personalisation — name, age, or a short message — on the order page.
- Enter your delivery address. We cover Dublin 1–24 plus surrounding suburbs like Swords, Malahide, Blackrock, Dundrum, Tallaght and Lucan; delivery cost is calculated automatically once you enter your address, with no minimum order and no same-day surcharge.
- Sit tight. Delivery lands between 3 PM and 7 PM on weekdays, or 12 PM and 4 PM at weekends — our driver will call when they're at your door.
What If You've Missed the Cut-Off?
Don't panic — your order will simply go out on the next available delivery day, and most designs only need 1–5 days' notice in general, so you still have plenty of choice for tomorrow.
