The quilting is scored panel by panel by hand, and every charm is made individually from sugar paste and hand-painted. Made fresh in Dublin, and every part of it is cake.

  How many people does this quilted handbag cake serve? Our black quilted handbag cake serves 24 standard portions as standard. 

  How far in advance should I order? Select an available date on the calendar at checkout. This design is hand-scored panel by panel and every charm is made and painted individually, so it takes longer than a standard cake — book as early as you can. For shorter notice, contact CakeMeAway directly and we'll let you know what's possible.

  Where in Dublin do you deliver? CakeMeAway delivers throughout Dublin city and county, including Blanchardstown, Swords, Tallaght, Dún Laoghaire and Lucan. You're also welcome to collect.

  What are the clover and ladybird charms made from? The clovers, ladybirds and letter charms are all hand-cut from sugar paste and hand-painted by us. They're completely edible. If we ever use a non-edible support on a design, we tell you at delivery so you know what to remove.

  What colours can I have the bag in? Any colour you like. Black is what's shown and it's the most requested for this design, but we also make it in ivory, blush pink, baby blue, sage green and red. Choose your shade at checkout or send us a reference photo and we'll match it.

  Can you spell out a name in the charms? Yes. Hand-cut letter charms are included, not longer than 5 letters— put the name in the personalisation box at checkout. Short names sit best along the strap; longer names we'll arrange across the front of the bag.

  Can I have different charms instead of the clovers and ladybirds? Yes. We've made this design with hearts, stars, flowers, bees and butterflies. Tell us what she'd love in the notes at checkout and we'll hand-make them to match.

  Is this a good hen party or bridal shower cake? Yes. The quilted bag cake is one of our most popular hen party and bridal shower cakes in Dublin. We often make it in ivory or blush with the bride's name spelled out in the charms.

  What sponge flavours are available? You choose your sponge and filling at checkout. Vanilla with raspberry, red velvet, and Belgian chocolate are the most popular for this design
